Site promotion is important. You want more people to come to your website because the more hits you get the more customers you get. And in order to get more hits, you need to use SEO to promote and get a higher rank in Google. But everybody has the same question when it comes choosing what’s the best way to do it: search engine optimization or pay per click? The truth is that either can be useful, but when it comes to developing a long term plan, I believe that search engine optimization is better. While I wouldn’t discount pay per click completely, I believe that the key to internet marketing is search engine optimization.

The first being what is called click-through traffic, or actual visits to the page or article. The second reason is for search engine optimization (SEO). The more your page or article is linked to, the more important it becomes in the “mind” of a search engine. Articles with a substantial number of links are likely to rank higher up on search engines because of this.
